A single winner on Saturday could win over £750,000 on the Scoop6 if they manage to win both the win and bonus funds which was rolled over from last week.

There is a total of £150,026 in the win fund, while the bonus fund, which hasn’t been won since the end of March, has now reached £455,534.

Saturdays Scoop6 races are from meetings in York and Newmarket.  The times of the races will be released later today.

We now have a total of £153,462 which is rolled over to this Saturday, the bonus fund has reached a massive £358,635!

Saturday 18th June’s bet could now be worth up to £750,000

The bookmaker Betfred has been chosen to buy the Tote after a six month wait.   It is believed that half of the money will go to the horse racing industry and the rest will end up in the chancellors pocket.

The Tote was instigated by the late Winston Churchill back in 1928 in the aim to provide an alternative to the, at the time, corrupt bookmakers!   It wasn’t until 1999, however,  that the Tote got together with Channel 4 Racing to start the ever popular Scoop6 event which has made numerous millionaires over the last decade.
